To complain about the lack of conformity of the product, the consumer may address both to seller as to manufacturer. The law establishes a general term of 2 years, to manifest the problem from the acquisition.

  • • If the defect comes to light during the first 6 months from the time of delivery, it is assumed that the fault existed when you bought it and the consumer does not have to prove anything..
  • • However, when the lack of conformity becomes apparent after 6 months and in doubtful cases, the manufacturer may require an independent expert report to process a warranty. In obvious cases of malfunction or irregular operation of products under warranty, no problems.

In any case, during the time the consumer is deprived of the product is suspended calculating the period of the guarantee, for example, if the repair of an object takes 15 days, the warranty period ends 15 days later than originally planned.

Anyone manufacturer, that have a higher guarantee to 2 years that mark the current law, you must deal directly with the manufacturer, for such cases MCM is not liable.

Shipping costs incurred in processing the product warranty, shall be borne by MCM in cases where it is assumed that the lack of conformity exists in the asset acquired. Always will be done under the instructions of MCM, upon application and acceptance.

NOTE: When the customer billed on behalf of company (not physical person), shipping to our facilities shall be provided by the customer, since the law on consumer goods does not regulate the sale and purchase between companies.


The consumer can claim if:

- The goods purchased do not fit the description given by the seller.

- The goods purchased do not have the qualities that the consumer has seen in a sample or model.

- The goods purchased do not serve to the uses to which ordinarily are used for consumer goods of the same type.

- Not suitable for the special use would have been required by the consumer and the seller has accepted.

- It has not the quality and performance expected, especially given the public statements (advertising, brochures, labeling ...) on their specific characteristics made ​​by the seller or manufacturer.


  • Repair or replace. The first thing to do is send the product to be repaired or replaced by a new one. The choice rests with the seller, who decide upon the costs it generates each option: if one of them is disproportionate to the other, the seller may choose the most suitable to their interests, whenever to the consumer not suppose major problems.

  • • Price reduction or termination of the contract. When not possible (or reasonable) replace the product with a new one, when the repair or replacement shall not serve to leave the product in a ideal conditions, when the time period is exaggerated... the consumer can choose between asking a price reduction or terminate the contract (provided the lack of conformity is important). In addition, the consumer has the right to be compensated by damages.


  • • Improper use, handling or maintenance by the Customer.
  • • Components burned, by overvoltage or overcurrent of power electrics.
  • • Broken or damaged components subjected to impact.
  • • Improper repair, modification or extension by the customer of a product.
  • • Deterioration, removal or concealment by the customer, of MCM guarantee label, or of manufacturer label, for all products (including those forming part of another product or kit) manufactured or distributed by MCM. That is, it will not accept any damaged material without packaging or with visible evidence of improper handling.


Excluded from any warranty defects and damage caused by external events, accidents, electrical accidents mainly due to wear and use not in accordance with the instructions of MCM.

It also excludes products that are modified or repaired by Customer or any other person not authorized by MCM, and products that are subject to specific support contract.

These warranty terms do not affect consumer's statutory rights protected by applicable national legislation.


There are some manufacturers, that for supply the client with the processing of their products under warranty provide a phone number to call to request a warranty to SAT of manufacturer. In this case the client must take or send the defective product directly to the SAT of manufacturer, usually at no cost to the client.
